CluesThis box is located in old Katy, at VFW Memorial Park. The Katy Veterens Memorial Museum is located inside the park. If the museum is open when you search for this box, please get the hours and e-mail them to me so I can put them on this site. Be prepared to be discreet, and pack plenty of sunblock, bug spray, and a purple ink pad.
To the park:
Go down Main Street and turn onto Avenue D. Go past 4th street and turn onto George Bush Drive and go all the way down the street to the end, and park where parking is available.
To the box:
Enter the park between the 2 road gates, and take the left side of the path and go past the playground and around the volleyball sandpit. Stick to the fence and walk along it to the end. Then, double back 7 steps. You should be at an oak tree with a Yupine growing at the base. Box is behind the oak tree, covered by light leaf litter. |
