The Veloway is southwest Austin's first trail exclusively for bicycles and rollerblading. Located on more than 100 acres in the Slaughter Creek Metropolitan Park, the Veloway is a 3.17 mile paved asphalt loop 23 feet wide. It is totally secluded from any other roads or motorized traffic and is free. There are only a few rules: No walking or jogging traffic, Slower traffic stays to the right and It is a one-way trail going clockwise. The trail is open daily from dawn to dusk and is located across from the Lady bird Johnson Wildflower Center, which is at 4801 La Crosse Avenue. This box does not require a bike or skates to find, but bring them if you can to enjoy this great place.

Directions:
From Austin, take Mopac south to La Crosse Ave. Turn left and go .3 mile to parking lot on the left.

Clues:
Walk toward the Porta-Potties near the park entrance and find the barbed wire fence heading southeast into the trees. Step over the large rocks on the edge of the parking lot and starting from the open gap in the fence, follow it into the brush to the 5th green metal post. The camo microbox is hidden at its base under rocks. Please re-cover well.
