The tomten are a pre-Christian race of spirit beings well-known to the north Europeans. They are short (three feet or so) elderly men of unpredictable disposition, attired in grey woolen clothes and wearing a red cap. Known for their industrious nature, they live only where there is cleanliness, order and discipline. The tomten you will visit watches over the nearby gathering place.
