Fox Chase Farm is the only working farm left in Phila.
The farm was started from a land grant from William Penn
to Lord Stanley and then passed on to the McVeigh family for 200 years. The Wistar family turned it into a self
sufficient farm. Today it is an Educational Farm serving
Phila. and it's suburbs.

Start from the P--e Rd. parking lot. From the lot head
North crossing over P--e Rd. Use the wooden steps leading
down to a trail heading 340 degrees being careful not to
touch the fence. Soon you will be entering l-----r Park.
After passing a bench on the left look for a trail leading
uphill at 240 degrees ( orange marks the spot ). Follow this trail up to another trail at 290 degrees. Stay on this trail until you come to a trail going East & West. Head West
on this trail until tou see another bench at 270 degrees.Sit awhile and catch your breath following your uphill trek. While relaxing on the bench take a reading at 190 degrees. Look for a small tree leaning to the right.
What you came in search of will be in the area of this small tree, but keep your eyes up.
To return from the bench take the same trail you came in on
heading downhill. ( it's all downhill from here ) At the bottom head East back out to P--e Rd.
Inkpad went AWOL,please bring your own.
Please be discreet and rehide box well.
