05 July 2011 -- UPDATE: We have removed the JUNK that was here and will replace this summer with an actual letterbox. If anyone knows the original owner, we would love to contact them - please send us an e-mail with contact info (trhccrm@aol.com). What we found today was a huge ziploc sitting out under the rock with geoTRASH in it and a logbook FULL of lost geocacher/muggle sign-ins. Have been through the entire book and found 25 log-ins that actually had trailnames or stamps as part of their log-ins, only eight of those have accounts on Atlas Quest (only three here on LbNA)-- none have been on AQ in the last three months, for most it has been years. There was no "In the Barn" or "Oink" stamp - we assume it was stolen by a cacher. Someone left a store bought shell stamp a while ago. There was a HH - how it survived we do not know! We plan to place a hand carved stamp -- have been planning it for a couple of years (before we knew there was supposed to be a box there already). There is a geocache in the area - this logbook has multiple references to the fact that this was NOT the cache, even from the geocache owner! Folks just ignored that as usual. We are thinking of a locked box with the combination or clues to find the key only available through us on AQ...still thinking...will probably only list on AQ with plant/find restrictions.

To find this stamp, start in your car.
Head north from Speculator, its not that far.
You are traveling north on state route 30,
Look for an animal known to get dirty.
It's a beautiful drive towards Indian Lake,
You are looking for an animal, don't worry it's fake.
It was painted by some who love barnyard creatures.
This rock holds angles that resemble its features.
If you're coming down south, the backside you'll see.
It's right past the sign for boyscouts to be.
Deerfoot Lodge is the sign that might help you out.
But I am sure you won't miss the very large snout.
Park alongside the road and look up at its face,
"Not by the hair on my_____________" is where it is placed.

September 2011 -- Box has been replanted and clues are listed on www.atlasquest.com. They are restricted -- you will have to have an account there (free), have one plant attributed to you -- get busy :) -- and have about 10 finds logged there. Sorry but we are trying to protect this box from going missing or having the stamp stolen like the original. We also launched the store-bought shell stamp we found in the junk as a HH -- maybe you will find that as well one day :).

Box on!
