This box is placed along the Rivulet trail at the William Cullen Bryant Homestead a property belonging to The Trustees of Reservations.
Directions:
From the intersection of Routes 9 and 112 at The Old Creamery Grocery in Cummington proceed up the up onto 112 south. At the 5 corner intersection take a right at the stop sign. The Rivulet trailhead is 100 yards on the right.
This trail meanders along a brook through old growth forest(note the very large trees) and will take about a half hour. Please stay on the trail and do not remove anything from the property.
Follow the markers along the trail. The trail turns abruptly at the green Rivulet Forest sign.
Cross the foot bridge and make sure to stay left on the Rivulet trail at the intersection with the Pine Loop.
At the next intersection take a right onto Pine Loop. Look at the base of third tree on the left.
Return back to the Rivulet trail and follow markers to the road.
