Come south down 101 from Lincoln City, OR, on your bicycle and catch the sights along the way at Otter Crest- be wary of RV’s. Ride down 101, basking in the Pacific past Otter Rock. Ride over the bridge and take a left into Beverly Beach State Park. Pass the park entrance and take a left towards the beach. Ride up to the little bridge that crosses over Spencer Creek that flows into the ocean. Check out all the info about the beach, tsunamis & seal pups and then ride on toward Beverly Beach. Your can park your bike under the bridge and walk out toward the surf look left and (on clear days) see the Yaquina Lighthouse and look far right & see Otter Rock, Beverly Beach is a great place for kite flying and surfing! Back under the big bridge & across the little bridge. Check out the “Ancient Stump” on your left after you cross. Make your way back to the park entrance and head west toward the visitor center for more info about the park, including the kinds of plants you will find adventuring here. At the building marked “information” you can lock up your bike at the rack on the southeast side. From the bike rack head northwest to the whale. Now back to the road past the fire wood hut and head toward the Yurts in the A loop. Take a right heading into the A loop. Once you come to “Tern” you’ll find what is left for you under the bottom stair on the right hand side. Consider staying the night!
