These boxes are at Artz Park...Bob Artz Park. It's a baseball park with 3 fields. My dad went to Peru a couple years ago, and brought back pictures of the Nazca Lines; very ancient artwork on a grand scale in the Nazca Desert where it never rains. As a matter of fact the art is so large that on the ground one piece of art looks like a white line going nowhere. You can only see them from the air. Fortunately, these stamps are not as big as that, or your book would have to be HUGE!!!

And, what do the Nazca Lines have to do with Baseball??? Line Drives of course ;)

To the Park:

Take Highway 126 going East to 58th street. Turn left like you are going to Thurston High School, or to Lively Swim Park, (the Wave Pool). There will be a stoplight here, so you may have to stop. Go NORTH on 58th. When you come to a little Roundabout, (traffic circle), turn right. Now you're on Thurston Road. Continue on Thurston Road past Lively Swim Park, past Thurston Middle School, and past Thurston Elementary. It will look like you're going out into the countryside. It's ok, you are going out into the countryside. Bob Artz Park it approximately 1/2 mile from Thurston Elementary. It will be on your right hand side.

Coming from the East? Come on Highway 126 past Cedar Flat. Once you've come around a couple corners you'll come down a hill with a gravel pull out area, and a bus stop. Turn right on this road. It is Thurston Road. Go down Thurston Road about 2 miles, and you'll come to Bob Artz Park on your left. IF you missed Thurston Road, you can continue on 126 until you get to 58th street. At 58th you can turn right by the 7 Eleven, and then follow the directions like you came from the West.

To the Boxes :)

The first 2 boxes are at Field Number 1.

Spider Box: ***THE SPIDER BOX HAS BEEN RECARVED!!!*** ...Instructions to the box are coming soon...

Hummingbird Box: Walk North from the Spider Box until you come to the Power Box. It might be humming if all is quiet. Follow a line west from the south edge of the power box into the fence. Ivy is a great place to hide something, don't you think?

The last one is in Field Number 3.

Monkey Box: You've probably noticed that there's a line of trees along field number 3. About 5 trees west of where Fields 1,2, and 3 meet you'll see an ash tree with a broken limb. It's not quite over the fence, and it's within reach.

Note the theme: Ash, power, and more ashes. All the Nazca people died, even though they were wise and powerful. They left only their art. Very sad. Look for things that last longer than the Nazca lines, even beyond death...there are some, if you look... I wonder if any of the Nazca found them? I hope so.

Happy Hunting in ALL things :)
