Box #1--Rippin Good Cookies

Upon entering the South Woods, continue on the path in a westerly direction until you arrive to the "troll's bridge"--be sure not to be one of the three billy goats gruff. Look in all directions at the bridge and seek a huge trunked and hollow tree that is the real home of the Keebler Elves in their cookie factory--these elves come in handy helping out Ripon's "Rippin' Good" Cookie Factory in town (be sure to sample some of their delicacies--it's good!). The 'cookie' box is hidden deep in the hollows--perhaps in the elves' kitchen cubby-hole. Please be sure to stamp and log in and put the cookies back in the bag and back into the hollowed out 'kitchen.

Box #2--Ripon

Continue West after the bridge of the troll and be very prepared to work uphill in the same westerly direction. Arrive to the top of the ridge--at the top is a trail that goes in the North and South direction. Take the South (red and yellow markers seen on trees) path, count the number of dips you see, and arrive to the fourth dip. As you are at the fourth dip, continue to the high path further South, 50 yards past the 8-trunked tree on the left is a huge tree that has seen better days. Look all around the tree and you will see the hidden treasure--the Ripon box.

Box #3--Birthplace of the Republican Party

Continue South from the 8-trunked tree, then take the left-hand trail down to the creek, and follow closely beside the creek on your left toward the 'source.' Be sure to step across the creek to seek the two separate tall rocky walls. Between the towering rock walls is a log--the log is pointing at a tree stump with a Republican elephant hiding in it. Bring home the elephant with you--the stamp print for your logbook, that is. Stuff the huge elephant back in the trunk and enjoy the rest of the walking adventures of the beautiful South Woods.

Happy Letterboxing! Inform us of the conditions of the boxes, please--thank-you.
