Sharon Springs is a town with a fascinating history. Park along the Main Street and follow the self guided tour plaques.
Walk down to the Temple at the White Sulphur Springs. Taste a dipperful of the water. I dare you! Peek into the spring house, noting the color and texture of the sulphur rich water. See how the stream bed changes color at the source of the sulphur springs. I won't have to tell you to observe the fragrance! The fountain on the left of the Temple is magnesium water. The fountain on the right is reputed to be good for your eyes.
Face the Temple, with your back to the road. Locate a pillar in front of you and slightly to your left. Walk around this pillar and look in the base. Please use extreme care removing and replacing this box.
