About 1 hour gentle uphill climb.
Take clues for Sunset Hill Trail.

Clues:

Follow the clues to Sunset Hill Trail picking up those boxes on the way if you haven’t gotten them yet. Continue on the well-blazed yellow trail to the summit. At one intersection, notice the u-shaped cellar hole on the left. This was the site of the Hastings homestead built in 1850. I can’t tell you any more about the Hastings, however. Pass an old metal gate that once was used to close off the road between the stonewalls. When you reach the summit you will notice that you are walking on rock. Apparently overgrazing by sheep caused all the topsoil to be exposed for erosion. But it makes a nice viewing platform for the vista to the west. Walk to the cairn that you will see in that direction. Make your way to the huge tree on the east side of the stonewall. Look near the tree under a rock shelf in the wall and under bark for what you seek.

Retrace your steps to the road.
