This letterbox is at Stella Olsen Memorial Park in Sherwood and is #2 of a series dedicated to Sherwood's Annual Robin Hood Festival.(#1 is located by the library)
hwy 99w in Sherwood turn onto n. Sherwood blvd. go approx. 1/2 of a mile and turn right onto 3rd ave. Then next stop sign turn right onto nw. Meinecke. parking lot is just past the park. Turn left into parking lot, go to the back upper parking spaces this is where you will start.
Take the path which leads you down a very steep grade. At the bottom your path will T, Take the gravel path straight ahead of you. Over the narrow bridge. Then to your right is a stair case, up you go. Follow dirt path not far maybe 75 feet, until you see (on your right) a very large pine tree and a fallen log over a ditch. Just a little further you will see a stump inside is the box.
Please be cautious that no one sees you.
The box may be down deep under wood and leaves.
If you pass the stair way going down you went to far.
Please bury box like you found it, thanks.
