Take I-240 East to Douglas Blvd exit. At the stop sign turn right toward the lake and left where the road splits. Stay on this road until your reach Draper Drive. Turn right on Draper Drive until you travel past the dam. Turn right on the gravel road that goes to Point 1. Drive toward the boat ramp/picnic area but turn left at the first opportunity on a dirt packed road.
Follow this road for aprox. .4 mile.
This road will follow the lake and on the right you'll pass a small picnic area before you stop at the .4 mile.

Here on your right you'll see an off road trail. Park here and follow the trail. In a little while you'll meet the dirt road again. Turn right on this road and follow the lake.

When you come to a "cedar gateway" on the right pass through to a clearing. Walk across the clearing towards 1 lone tree. You're back to the same road again, cross it to the big cedar right along the road. A few feet up in the branches you'll find the box.
