***MISSING AS OF 8/16/06: NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!*****

Location: Clark's Creek Park

Located at 14th St. SW and 12th Ave. SW, at the east end of DeCoursey Park, Clark's Creek Park is nestled beside Clark's Creek and spans 55 acres. This park offers lighted tennis courts, a lighted softball field, an exercise trail, an open play area, playground, restrooms, and picnic shelters. I found that the best way to get to the park was to take 7th St. SW in Downtown Puyallup. It is only about five minutes west of Meridian street.

Clues:

Mufasa taught Simba about how he was King of all the lands-... that is, everything the light touches! Simba, being the rambunctious cub he was, had to go exploring, though! Luckily, this trip only led him to find an odd log.. though it is shaped oddly like an elephant bone! Maybe you can find it, too!

After parking near the tennis courts, go along the tennis courts on a grassy field until you meet up with a dirt trail most of the way through the grass. Follow this trail (which merges with another to make a larger trail) until you meet a Y in the road. Go on the right path until you come to a stop sign.

At this stop sign, STOP!!!! ... Look around to make sure no hyenas are following you, and then continue on past the sign, continuing on the trail. There will be another Y in the road... though just before the Y is a steep path to the right. Take this smaller path about 23 steps.. To your right will be a hollow log, with the 'Everything the Light Touches' letterbox hidden inside. Watch out for scary creatures in this log 'graveyard'!

The park is kid and dog friendly! Bring the whole family and have a fun day exploring the trails and the creek!
