**These boxes MAY be missing as of 9/11/08. I will post here when I know for sure.**

There is a truly talented carver in our midst, not to mention one of the nicest people. She has done some of the most wonderful stamps that I have ever had the pleasure to look for. Here is a little bit of pleasure for her.

This is a three box series with only one log book that is in the last box. It is a short, but pretty little walk. You will need to bring markers with you for the stamps.

To find the staring point you will need to figure out three words. I will give you the definitions and you need to just fill in the blanks.

------ ------ --------
1 2 3

1)------ a plant of genus/the soft, white, wool-like fiber enclosing the seeds of the ------ plant

2)------ a little hole

3)-------- a large area of land or body of water where game or fish is protected

Once you have figured out the name, be sure to park at the one that has the swimming pool. There are two parking areas for this place.

Once you are at the correct parking area, stand facing the pool. Head to your right and you will find a blue/white/blue blazed trail that you wil be following for this walk.

Box #1
A very short way down the path you will come to the back corner of the fence that encloses the pool. Just after this is a path that goes off to the left. STOP. Look to your right and you will see two flatish boulders on top off each other. Go to their west side and look in between them for the first box.
PLEASE RE-HIDE WELL.

Box #2
Continue on the same path, in the same direction. You will cross a stream, go under a leaning tree and then cross another water spot-mostly a runoff. Keep looking up on your right for a large, dead tree. It is above you and off the "beaten path". When you see it, go a little further down the trail and there will be an easy way to get to it. Once you are next to it with the brook to your back, look right and you will see a funny Beech tree. Go to that tree and stop. Across the path fronm this spot you will see a tree growing out of some large rocks. In the right-most crevice you will find the second box.
PLEASE RE-HIDE WELL.

Box #3
Go back down to the blue/white/blue trail and continue in the same direction. Walk a ways until you have a good sized, 'grafitti' covered Beech on your right. This tree is right on the edge of the trail. Face this tree and look slightly to the right and there will be a two sister tree that is trying to get away from each other about 17 steps off of the trail. In the hollow near its base is box #3.
PLEASE RE-HIDE WELL.

Turn around and retrace your steps to get back to your car.

Rebecca, we hope you enjoy your birthday boxes as much as we enjoy looking for all of yours.

Happy Birthday!!!!
