I need to rehide since the terrain has changed and plants have been removed!

Do you remember when you were a young teen? Of course you do, and I'm sure you remember who occupied the space on your walls. I know I do. I still listen to his music today (torturing my coworkers and family)and think about how every inch of wall and my ceiling had his posters and pin-ups on it. Although my taste has changed over the years, he's still a cutie!
Anyway, I'm dedicating my 1st placed letterbox to him. To find the LB you first have to figure out who the Idol is and then fill in the blanks on his bio. They will be used in the directional clues later. Some blanks are only so not to give away key words. I also integrated the plaque method, as in the Seal Beach Series, using the biography below. If you can't figure out who he is, email me and I'll give you a hint.

My teen idol was born in Manchester, England on March
5,19_(a)_. At age _(b)_ he began performing in bars
in Spain and Australia. In 1976 he was asked to record
tapes for Robert S_______ and released his first album
in 1977 called F______ R_____. His 2nd album S_____
D______ was released in 1978 and went platinum within
weeks. He had 3 #1 hits at this time. In 1980 he re-
leased his 3rd album A____ D___, which was produced by
the legendary hit-making team of B____ G___, Karl Rich-
ardson and A____ Galuten. During the early 80's he co-
hosted the TV show Solid Gold and made tabloid news
with his love interest V________ Principle. Bad times
came with his break-up and substance abuse. In 1985 he
admitted himself into the Betty Ford Clinic and in 1987
filed bankruptcy. By 1988 a comeback seemed in the
works. His bankruptcy was discharged and he signed a
record deal with Island Records. He was staying at his
brother's place in England while working on his next
album. He had also taken up drinking and was admitted
into the John Radcliff Hospital in ______ for observa-
tion after complaining of stomach pains. He died on
March _(c)_,19__ at the age of _(d)_. He is buried at
Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills Cemetery.

Your hunt starts at 5.9.3/6.1.3/9.7.2/5.9.2/5.5.4/4.4.2/1.7.1 City Park and ends in 9.7.5/4.4.6/8.5.5/10.3.3/6.1.2 Regional Park. These parks are located off the 91 FWY. From the East exit Yorba Linda, go right to 5.4.2/5.9.3 3.2.2/9.7.2/10.3.2/1.7.1/6.1.2 and make a left. Then turn left on 5.9.2/4.9.4/20.7.2/20.7.3/20.7.4/20.7.5/20.7.6 Ln. into the park. From the West, exit at 12.5.2/1.7.1/3.2.2/5.5.4/8.5.5/12.5.7/5.9.3/5.4.2 and go left to La Palma and make a right. Pass the light at Fairmont and then turn right into the park. Once there you can park on the paved lots but, I recommend driving thru the gravel lot into the dirt lot surrounded by the ranch style fence. Take the path to the 5.5.6/6.1.2/6.1.3/4.4.2/9.7.2 5.9.3/6.1.6/12.5.8 5.5.1/5.5.2/5.5.3/5.5.4/5.5.5 trail and turn left onto the trail. The 91 will be on your right. Pay attention to the WHITE posts on your right. Walk along the trail until you get to the 21st post. In between post 8 and 9 there will be a Natural Native Garden on your left. Also you will note that at the 10th post you are now in the other park. At the 21st post take ~ (d) more steps along the trail. You will see a knobby tree on your left. Go under the fence to the tree and take (c) paces North. From this post take (a) steps at (b) degrees. Look to your left. You see what looks like a row of trees? It's actually one tree w/ a canoe type hole. Go to the hole and you will find the letterbox hidden under some leaves by your feet. The plant it was under had been cut down so, I may rehide soon.
