"Uncle Rico"
Gibson Park is located on Wendover Ave in High Point. If you are coming from I-40 it will be on the left right after the Tarrant Rd intersection. Enter park and go to the end of the drive and park. Find the trail past the restrooms and go right. The trail is paved and slighty hilly; great for strollers and bikers. First pass the yellow 3.5 marker. You will then come to a long wooden bridge-cross it. At the end of the bridge stop on the right side. Go up the hill approx. 22 paces. There will be a group of 4 trees all coming out of the ground in the same place. Here you will find the football Uncle Rico tried to throw over the mountains ... maybe back in '82 he would of made it!?!?
