This stamp was designed and planted by the members of Girl Scout Troop #358, with a little help from Artdog and Leopard JJ.
Locate Lakeshore Apartments in NE Indy, and enter the grounds via the West entrance. Find buildings 8336 and 8342. It is between the two that you will find the entrance to a hiking trail along the White River. If you spot a weeping willow, you are not far from the trailhead. Follow the trail down into the woods until you must make a choice. Head along the trail at 0 degrees, passing a hollowed out tree, until you reach a dock. Go on out and enjoy the view, then continue along the trail, as before. Look for the second post past "5" and go left. Look for a tree in a triangle and take 6 paces west from this tree. Look to your right for a double-trunked tree with a large broken branch on the SW side of the treee. This letterbox is nestled in the broken branch. Please rehide well and let me know how this troop's first letterbox is doing.
