Canadian Boat Series
#1 - Huron Cruiser Canoe
The Huron Cruiser was originally a design of the Peterborough Canoe Company. Plans are still available if you want to build your own cedar strip canoe!

Your quest starts on the new suspension footbridge that crosses a river gorge. You can access this bridge from both the eastern and western side of the ??? river.

Leave the suspension bridge and head south on the trail that skirts the eastern bank of the river. Stay near the fence on your right. You will pass 2 FoF benches and eventually the chain link fence stops. In its place you may see a run down rusty old wire fence. Continue southward, follow the rusty fence on your right until you see a short concrete post marked 1910 BS. From here it is 66 more steps to a clear view of the river. On the opposite bank you will see some large warehouses with orange doors. Have a seat on the flat rock and look left. The cedar that has an angled limestone rock nuzzling from the eastern side is hiding the Huron Cruiser. From your seated position you will see some smaller rocks beneath the big one. The stamp is behind these. Rehide so that anyone seated here cannot see the box.
