The Cape Cod Baseball League has been the premier amateur baseball league in the nation since 1885. Many players have gone on to play in the major leagues. Players from the Mariners are: Kevin Millar, Dewon Brazelton, John Flaherty, Carlos Pena & Adam Melhuse, just to name a few.

You can get a CCBL schedule by going to:
http://www.capecodbaseball.org/Schedules/sched06.htm

All games are free but ask for a donation.

Directions to Whitehouse Field:

From Off-Cape:
Take Rt. 6 to Exit 10 (Rt. 124). Right at top ramp, then 1st left at flashing light (Queen Ann Rd.). After .3 mile, take right onto Oak St. Follow Oak St. for .8 mile, take left turn just before Harwich High School. Field is on left at back of parking lot.

From P-town:
Take Rt. 6 to Exit 10 (Rt. 124). Left at top ramp, then 1st left at flashing light (Queen Ann Rd.). After .3 mile, take right onto Oak St. Follow Oak St. for .8 mile, take left turn just before Harwich High School. Field is on left at back of parking lot.

Directions to the box:

Start your search at the paved “Y” in front of the snack bar. Take the path that will lead you towards 3rd base. When the pavement ends, head NE & follow the fence to the outside corner of left field. Round the corner & head SE past the foul pole. When you reach the 2nd light post, turn South and continue walking. At the fence corner between the flagpole & the scoreboard, begin counting 54 steps following the Easterly path. Look Left for the broken Pine bat. You will catch your prize at the base of that bat covered with leaves & a branch.

Please re-hide well.

Be sure to look for the “magic #” in the front of the logbook. Add up the #’s from all 10 boxes and receive the clue to the bonus box.

If you plan on catching a game as well as the box, please try to come early or stay late, as these games are very well attended. If you try for the box during a game, please use the utmost discretion, as there are always curious kiddos here.

Thanks & I hope you enjoy! Since I cannot get to the fields on a regular basis, I would love to hear updates – please “contact the placer” or email me directly at: mummaandbunnyboy@yahoo.com.
