Box is replaced and back in action!!! Have fun!

This Letterbox is located at Weston Park off from Turkey Hill Rd in Merrimack. It is next to the bridge over the Souhegan River.

Weston Park was the location of the "Merrymac" Turkey Hill Covered Bridge. "Merrymac's" first covered bridge! It was built in 1751 and rebuilt in 1830 and again in 1859. It stood for over 100 years and was one of NH's oldest until is was destroyed by arsonists on April 7, 1968.

Write the numbers 1 to 14 under the dashes below.

Park in the lot by the river. Walk up the big grass path to your left. Keep going to the big rock next to the pillory. On the big rock there is a memorial plaque for Reuben Cummings. READ THE MEMORIAL!

Enter the cemetery.

Go to the headstone that looks like a Rook.
Look at the 1st headstone on its right.
Put the first letter of the person’s last name on the first line below (#1).
On the same headstone, #2 is the 13th letter that appears on that stone.
Turn around and walk to the tall brown headstone. On the south side of the headstone, #3 is the 1st letter of the 3rd name down. (Hint: it's NOT a "C")
At the same headstone on the west side #4 & #5 is the second name down's 3rd & 4th letter in that order.
Still on the same headstone #6 is the 3rd letter of the family’s last name.
With your back on the east side of this headstone set your compass at 100 degrees and walk 7 steps to the headstone in which the last name could be a first name. #7 is the last letter of the last name.
Facing this headstone, turn to your right. Along the same row of headstones walk 23 steps to the one who died at age 34. #8, #9 and #10 is the first 3 letters of the last name.
At a compass reading of 270 degrees, walk 22 steps to the Reverends headstone. #11 and #12 are the first and third letters of the town the church was in (in that order).
With your back to the Reverends headstone (on the writing side) locate the larger of the 2 rectangular headstones at 308 degrees.
#13 is the first letter of the last name
#14 is the first letter of the first name
With your back to this headstone (on the writing side) take the same amount of steps as the age that Reuben Cummings died to the word you spelled below. Search around the base this.
