DISTANCE: Approximately 150 feet walking. Rest of the way is driving.
DIFFICULTY: Easy. Our ten year old helped hide it.
CLUES:
This letterbox is in Richfield Park. Take Irish Rd. until you come to the Richfield Park entrance. Turn into the park. Once inside the park, stay on the entrance road and go straight. To your left is a bmx bike course. Don't go this way. Stay straight until you have gone .5 miles. Outside your passenger side window is metal stake (looks like a road marker) and a sandy trail-like turnoff. From the stake, go 30 paces straight down the sandy trail. Then turn right(NW) and go 150 steps to the big tree that's not a pine tree. The lion sleeps on his throne here about six feet up. Make sure you !ROAR! when you find it.
Be sure to stamp in. Bring a pen as there is no pen in this letterbox.
In this same park, look to find #2 in our Safari Series, "We Love Spots".
Please email us and let us know if the lion is doing ok at noslen4@chartermi.net.
Happy hunting, Noslen4
