At each of the other Doctor Who boxes, you should have recorded a number found on the box and logbook. These numbers represent the number of televised adventures each Doctor had. Add these eight numbers up, to find the whereabouts of the ninth Doctor. We’ll call this number Sigma.
Your journey begins on the south side of Lake Nockamixon. From PA-611, turn west onto South Park Road. (About 1.2 miles south of PA-412.) After 2 miles, turn right onto Mink Road (it may sneak up on you, so keep your eyes open). This road will enter the park, and turn to a dirt road. It ends at a parking lot. Park there, and walk to the fence in front of you.
Turn left, and walk along the fence to the point where the fence ends. Now, this is your chance to calibrate your paces to mine. From the end of the fence, walk along the fence until you reach the first of two wooden posts. That took me 33 paces. Note how many paces it took you.
Now, from where you are, at the first wooden post, walk Sigma paces (or rather, your adjusted number of paces). At first, you’ll be along the fence. Then the trail will go up and down, wind a bit, and quite probably turn to mud. But there are no forks or intersections, so you won’t get confused. When you have walked Sigma paces, you will see an incredible view on your left. Enjoy it.
Then walk nine more paces (one pace per Doctor). Turn right, and spot a large, three-trunked tree about nine paces in. (Again, one pace per Doctor.) Look in the base of that tree for the Ninth Doctor. Congratulations!
