These are fairly easy letterboxes to find. Note: From late spring to early fall, The trails become slightly overgrown on certain parts. The Grass in the feild in the beginning gets to knee- waist height. If you go soon after rain, there may be some puddles or mud so be cautioned: If you aren't willing to dirty your shoes this letterbox isn't for you!

One box offers a fun place to kick back and watch/hunt/catch frogs, and the other a view of boston and the rolling hills of Massachusetts. You can also take your bike, which i do to check the boxes, but make sure it is a fairly good quality mountain bike as there are rocks and ditches and logs to ride over. This all makes for a great place to Mountain Bike.

Park at the Princeton Post office on Route 31. Take a right and walk down Worcester Road, a.k.a Route 31. Soon you will see Power lines running across the street. Cross the street and cross over the short wall into the open feild under the left side powerlines. Stay along the woods to the left and walk roughly 100 feet. You will see a small path that leads into the woods.

Walk left down the path. You will cross a stonewall if you are on the right one. It is very easy to follow, and provides shelter from the sun. Stay on the trail until it opens up back into the field under the power lines. Follow the small grassy path until you see a rockwall that intersects the path.

Cross over, then count out 10 paces down the path. Turn left and walk towards the edge of the woods. You will see a small path. Follow that untill you come to a fence. Skirt around the fence until you reach a gate. Go through, and stay along the left fence. You will reach a small clearing after 20 feet.

Turn towards the pond, and walk down towards it. The Frog Bog Letterbox is dead ahead about four feet before you reach the shore. It is wedged between two 4-inch stumps.

If you would like to continue on to the next box, the Boston Rocks Letter Box, follow these directions:

Head back to the Power-line trail. When you get there, take a left. Count the number of Power line poles that you pass.

Follow the path for a while, and enjoy the wildlife around you. After a while you will see a blue house on your right. Once you count out six poles, you should start down a small hill.

When you get to the top of a steep rocky hill, about in the middle of the sixth and seventh pole, turn left. You will see a 5 foot high rock about 15 feet off the trail. Behind that rock is the Boston Rocks Letterbox. Enjoy the view! On clear days, you can see Boston. The name of this box came from my what my neighbor and i used to call this place. Boston, because you can see boston and the Prudential Building almost every day, and roks, well, because they are rocks:-).

Head back down the power lines trail untill you see a wooden barrier marking the beginning of the woods trail. I hope you enjoyed my first two letterboxes. This is an often travelled trail so please notify me immediately if it is missing. It has gone missing twice this year.

If you're not the adventurous type and are heading home, follow these: Trace your steps back to the powerlines trail. Head right until you reach the woods trail. Follow that until the road, and then walk back to your car.

Note: Dont forget bug spray, a walking stick if wanted, and binoculars. Enjoy!
