Replaced the box with hopefully a sturdier container 11/15/05.

. . .Elementary school boy humor at its finest. . .

This letterbox is a joint project of Ace & Batrick, ages 8 & 7, in celebration of Ace’s first letterboxing adventure. It is located in Memorial Park, in the Mountain Bike Trail area. There are numerous other boxes in this area.

From Memorial Drive heading west towards the 610 west loop, turn left (south) onto Picnic Lane. Quickly, veer right, go past the baseball fields, and pull into the mountain bike trail parking area (there will be a trailhead map on the south side of the parking lot).

Clues:
Cross the bridge, head left past the rugby fields into the trail area.

What two primary colors make Orange? This box is hidden between those two colored trails. From the point where the actual bike trails begin in the woods, take the farthest left of these two colored trails. From the first colored trail marker, take 61 steps (15 steps past the last in a group of large sawn logs). On your right should be a large tree with a thick vine going up the front. The Orange Letterbox is hidden between the vine and the tree, covered with pine needles and leaves and bark.

Please take care to rehide well. Make sure the box lid is snapped on well. Thanks for taking the time to find Ace & Batrick's box. They had great fun hiding it.
