This box is in Mercer Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

Directions:
From I45 or the Hardy Toll Road north, exit FM 1960 and turn east, then at Aldine Westfield Road, turn left (north). At the second traffic light (1.25 miles), turn right and park on the left for the Visitor Center and Botanical Gardens.

Clues:
Go to the visitor center to get a map and walk around to enjoy the flowers. When you are ready to look for the box, find the North Garden Trailhead behind the daylily garden. Follow the trail until you come to a fork in the path, and stay to your left. When you come to the Waterlily garden there will be a sign in front of you that says Crinum Collection. Look to your left and see the sign that shows the direction to the Bamboo Garden. Turn left into the second entrance, and stay straight. At the next fork, stay left. Take time to enjoy all the diffrent types of bamboo. Follow the path until you come to a bench on the right. From the bench take 20 steps and stop just before the Weaver's Bamboo **I've been informed that the Weaver's Bamboo sign may be missing**. Turn to your right, and locate a stump about a foot high. Take 24 steps to the stump. When there, turn 90 degrees to the right and take 5 steps to a fallen tree on your right. The letterbox is under the tree covered with pine needles and pieces of fallen bamboo. Please re-cover well. Please contact me with the status of the box at: buttercup864@sbcglobal.net
