This letterbox is active from 3rd April 2006 again :)))
Welcome in Prague, Czech Republic.
This letterbox will show you the Deer Moat, beautiful area next to the famous Prague castle.
The trail is about 1 km long.
Go to the Malostranska Metro station (line A) and find the beginning of the Old castle stairs (Stare zamocke schody in Czech). Once you are there, you will see the pink house with number 3/147. Behind the house there is a path in the grass marked by the stones in the ground. Follow the path (on the right side there is a tramway line). When you will get to the small stairs, keep the previous direction and follow the wooden footbridge (with metal construction) in the slope. Once you are on the normal path, go streight, pass the two artworks and go into the tunnel. Pass the tunnel and go until you will see the small house on the left side. Then try to locate the two gothic-like doors with the iron cages. You are not very far from the letterbox now :) Turn back and you will see the old big lime-tree surrounded by the small wall with the balls on it above you. Climb that slope and try to locate the small vineyard there. The letterbox is hidden in the first hole in the wall there. Good luck :)))
The important note: the area is open only from April to October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through the summer tourist season!!!
