The largest & most beautiful cemetery in Great Bend is located at Broadway and Hoover Street. To find it from the center of town turn west off Main street onto Broadway and follow it several miles to the cemetery. It will be on your right.

Turning into the cemetery, you can go right to visit Grandma & Grandpa Stewart or left to find your letterbox. Going left will find another fork and you will want to stay left again. Follow the road until you reach the road that curves right (but don't turn) stop there and park. Mr and Mrs. Johnson reside on your right as you vehicle faces. If you don't see them you might want to ask the Hayes', they are right next door, they are quiet folks though. Across from the Johnson's is a small memorial rock pond. If you start counting regular footsteps from the road & walk towards the edge of the rock wall, it should take you about 28 steps. Looking down from that point you will see 2 large rocks at your feet on the left. The third rock has a small concrete rock under it. Move the concrete rock and you will find your box.

The cemetery does not know about this box, so please be discreet. Let me know if you found it.
