Difficutly: Easy
Distance to Mini-box: 150 yards
Status of Mini-box: Alive, but log is wet on 5/1/2011
The "Tweety" mini-box is located in Kitty Hollow Park, South of Hwy 59 South and across from Sienna Plantation. The box has nice picnic facilities, playgrounds, ballfields, fishing lakes, jogging trails, and is a relaxing escape from the urban sprawl around it.
Directions:
From Hwy 59, exit Hwy 6 and go south. Just past Sienna Parkway on your right, turn left into the park (look for sign). Follow road all the way to the farthest parking area.
To the Mini-box:
Get on the path and go right (West). curve around, passing the "1/8" mile marker and stop at the blue bench on your right. Form the bench, go southat 200 degrees to the treeline and a sign reading "End of Park - NO Trespassing". At sign, turn right and walk into the trees about 15 big steps to the first multi trunk tree. Mini-box is about 1 foot off the ground, in the forks of this tree. You will have to work your way to it (I circles right).
