Location: Enter Lake Kissimmee State Park and follow signs to “Cow Camp”. Note: Cow Camp is always open to walk into, but on weekends it is “manned” by an 1865-era cowboy who guides you through what times were like back then.

Walk under Cow Camp sign and enter a by-gone era. Follow trail to acual camp where you can use hand pump to fill cows water-trough, view an out-camp complete with coffee brewed over a campfire. After enjoying the “step back in time” continue through camp on obvious trail on other side of side you entered camp on. As you continue on this trail you will come up on a sign to be viewed from reverse side that reads “No Bicycles”. Stop at sign and turn around so you are headed back towards cow camp. Go back 16 paces (32 regular steps) and you will be directly next to a live oak on your left. To your right you will see another oak which splits into a “Y” at about 12 feet. To the right of the “Y” tree are two oaks, a smaller one in front of a larger one tilting to the right at about 40°. This larger tree is about 5 paces (10 regular steps) from the edge of the trail. Under the backside of this oak look under the base of tree, under moss, twigs and a red brick. Stamp, stamp-pad and log book are inside. Enjoy and carefully seal and replace. Please report back as I can only check condition once or twice a year.
