Located: 8 miles s.w. of Albany
Directions:
Take Rte. 443 west out of Delmar (1.2 miles from Rte. 443/County Rte. 52 intersection). Turn right on Orchard St., then left on Game Farm Rd. Five Rivers Environmental Education Center is straight ahead.
Clues:
Follow the "Thorn Pool" Trail until you come to where it makes a right angle turn at the bottom of a little hill. (You have walked a ways so find a SOFT SPOT to stand and rest your feet). Take a compass bearing of 238 degrees and follow it to a distinctive 10" white oak (you'll know it when you see it) on the same level.
Hint:
LB is closer to the Vlomankill than the Phillipinkill.
Please sign stamp, and replace hidden from view. Let me know how you make out. Thanks
