This letterbox is located in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. It is beside one of the many roads, which is a seldom used road so you can actually just park in the road. its location requires no walking over grave sites.

CLUES:
Difficulty: Very easy
Terrain: Drive up then a very short walk on fairly flat ground.
Time: Less than 10 minutes after you park.
Distance: Less than 20 yards from car to quest and back again.
Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, pen and an old rag to wipe off the box/your hands.

In the city of Parkersburg get on 7th street.
From the west side of town (Ohio river side) go east passing traffic lights at Avery, Green, Lynn, East, H.W. 47/50 turn off, Liberty and then get in the left lane. Turn left at the next light onto Park avenue.
From the east side of town (I77 side) go west passing lights at Fairview Ave and then turn right at the next light onto Park Ave.
Once your on Park Avenue proceed north until you reach the end of Park Avenue. Continue straight ahead into the cemetery entrance and turn immediately hard right. Follow this road up the hill taking no lefts or rights until told. You will come to a large brick building with wooden doors and round columns on your right and you will immediately take the right before you get to that building. Follow this seldom used road to its top and circle around and come back down to the big building. Wasn't that fun. Before the intersection you will notice three shrubs on your left. In the base of the middle one, under a rock, you will find "Beware of the Bear". Discretely lift the rock and remove your quest. I recommend returning to your car and leisurely stamping and reading the log and then discretely replacing the box under the rock after sealing it securely. If you would like to find other letterbox very close by, there are several others in this cemetery and in the park just south of here. If you have the time, there are also boxes downtown, in Belpre just across the river and up the river in Marietta. In the future look for boxes in some of the parks on the outskirts of town. Have a good time in this beautiful and historic part of the country. Good day.

And when you get home, please let me know the condition of the box and any comments you might have.
