This box has been replaced 6/14/2005 in a new location!New clues below:

This is a series of four microboxes. I have given driving directions to each box in the order of: tenor sax, drumset, bass guitar, and piano.

Difficulty: easy
Distance to box: about .5 miles

This box is located in the Village Creek Historical Area on Dotty Lynn Parkway between Interstates 20 and 30.

I made my way back to the club the next night just as the nighthawks were flipping around the streetlights in a aerial display of daring. I strode in under the cover of the smoke lingering over the floor. I heard the swinging three beckoning to me with their lilting invitation to a mellowtone. I felt rather than saw the smooth ebony of the piano and caressed its smooth wood as I made my way around to the ivories. I sat and laid my fingers gently, gently, upon their cool lines and began to feel the changes in my soul-a dominant seventh of purple-a flat five of chartreuse, a two-five-one into a blue slide of syncopated energy I had been searching for. This was my place-this would heal me-This was where I belonged.

Walk down the sidewalk for about a quarter mile to a half mile until you come to another sidewalk that branches off to the right. Take that walk down across the creek, and up the hill. As you reach the top of the hill, look for the "lighthouse" on your right. From the SW corner of the "lighthouse" proceed 11 paces (1 pace=2 steps) at a bearing of 275 degrees to a multitrunked tree. The box is hidden in the crotch of one of the trunks. Please rehide in the exact same spot. After you stamp in, proceed to the pond and enjoy this little slice of peaceful nature! Have fun!
