This box has been replanted as of 10/12/2006!

This is a series of four microboxes. I have given driving directions to each box in the order of: Tenor Sax, Drumset, Bass Guitar, and Piano.

Difficulty: easy
Distance to box: .1 mile

This box is located on Cliff Nelson Recreation Center grounds.
It is on Bardin Road west of Kelly-Elliot south of Interstate 20.

I needed to feel a firm foundation under my feet. The vibrating strings of the bass were leading me on to an understanding. They laid out the chord progression in a wildly swinging parade of eighth notes-all "in the pocket". I had searched so long- I knew I could go on now-...............................

Find the northwest corner of the playground. From this concrete corner go to the BBQ grill at a bearing of 230 degrees. From the grill go 22 steps at a bearing of 280 degrees to the tree with tentacles at its base. From that tree go 19 steps on the path that follows the north side of the gully. You will find another "octopus" tree. The box is hidden in a hollow at its base on the north side. Please recover well with leaves and sticks. Please resealy bags well as this microbox is not waterproof. Have fun!

To get to the final box in this series-Piano-turn left out of park and then turn right onto Green Oaks. Go under Interstate 20 and continue for about 4.9 miles from that point. Green Oaks will become Dotty Lynn Parkway. Look for the Village Creek Historical Area on your right.
