Welcome to the Oklahoma Letterbox Wild West Series, there will be ten in all. Each will be placed at different locations around the state.

Brought to you by Sticker.

The first stamp in this series is dedicated to the White Chief of the Pawnees, Pawnee Bill. Pawnee Bill was a major contributor to the dramitization of the American Frontier. He produced two of the countries Wild West shows and built his ranch in northeastern Oklahoma where it operates today as a museum.

To locate this stamp go west on N.W. 39th to Morgan Road. Turn right, heading north until you come deadend at the iron gates. Park and walk through the gates heading west and then north toward the river. To the west of the roadway is a road up high fixed on spires. Find the 8th spire from the north end of the high road and stand north of it facing west. Walk 70 paces west until you come to three pines playing in the woods, Papa Pine, Mama Pine to the left and Baby Pine in the yard to the right. Walk to Papa Pine and then follow the low bed 17 paces to the tree with the softball size hole. Standing at this site face west and take 11 paces. Look up to the Y to find your bounty.
