Coming from Morro Bay travel North on Highway 1. Exit Cayucos Drive (second Cayucos exit) and turn left towards the ocean. Turn right on Ash Avenue. Go straight until the road turns to the right. Stop and park where the road turns to the right. Walk straight across the open field towards the creek/river (depending on the recent winter). Look towards your right and locate the 2 large abandoned pipes against the wall. Once reaching the pipes, turn around and take 18 paces towards the ocean. Turn to your right and face the river. At the bank of the river, there is a lovely Juniper tree and to the right of that is a fallen tree. Between these two trees is a large round bush. Peer deep into the bush and find The Bee Box located at the base of the bush. Please make sure when you are done that the box is well hidden from view as this is an exposed area and sometimes the field is used for craft fairs.
