Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 200 yards
Status of microbox: MISSING on 4/10/05
The "Spirit Bird" microbox is located in Mary Jo Peckham Park, in Katy, Texas. This park has a big fishing lake, with a jogging trail around it, putt putt golf, playground, picnic areas and much more. Look for "Pirates Booty" near by!
Directions:
From I-45, take Hwy 90 into Katy. Turn right on Avenue D and go to Gardenia Street. Turn right and go to end of parking area. You will see park and parking lot on your left when you reach the end. Pull in through gates and park near building.
To the Microbox:
Walk to the bathroom building (near the lake). From here, take the sidewald southeast to a T-juction. Turn left and walk across grass at 70 degrees for 44 steps to a tree with a hole in its base. Microbox is in the hole, on the left front side, covered with bark. Please re-cover it well.
