Box removed for the winter 10-10-11

This is a good one to do when other trails are too muddy to navigate. If the winter gates are still closed, you can park at the Allhands cemetary and walk down the hill until you reach the road to No Name Pond.
Driving directions. Off the main road, turn south at the boat rental road at Kickapoo State Park. At the T, head toward high ground. Keep going until you turn toward No Name Pond. Park at the dead end. NOTE: This road is sometimes barricaded during bad weather or after park hours. It is several miles to walk, but a nice bike ride.
Walking directions. This is a paved trail; perfect for handicap or sloppy weather hikes.
At the quad, head east. You'll wind through several small ponds, but all the while, you'll stay close to the big pond. Once you start your ascent away from the big pond, take the path less traveled. (From this point, the trail is not handicap accessible) Shortly into the path, you'll have to duck, duck. Then you'll come to a block in the path; follow the log north until you find the box.
You can return the way you came or continue up the trail. If you continue the trail, it will take you to the road. Make a right, and return to your vehicle.

Bring your own stamp pad.
