Easy short walk partially paved and flat. Dog and kid friendly.
This furry friend is next to a state park that contains a replica of the 1836 stockade and cabins built by trapper Miles Goodyear. Wodden pegs, mortise and tenon joints were used instead of nails in the construction of the scockade. Fishing and picnic areas are available. Admission is $1.
Once you have found this location park outside the entrance gate. (If you cross the bridge, you’ve gone too far.)
Go to the path along Weber River, which is a paved trail. Head southwest, on past the trail names sign, and 97 steps to the large cement chunks on the right. At the large flat one partially buried, there are 2 large chunks above it with rebar sticking out. Between these 2 chunks, the small pouch is under a brick-like rock.
