This stamp was carved and hidden by Captain Caleb, 9 years old.
It takes about 1 1/2 hours from Oklahoma City to the entrance of Roman Nose State Park. Take I-40 west to the highway 281/Geary exit. Go north on 281 through Geary. It will connect with 270 north. You continue through Watonga and approximately 5 miles farther North. Follow the road signs and turn left to the entrance of the Park.
If you've found High Jump Kirby/Kirby Series #2 continue on from that point.
Keep on this trail up and hill and around the bend. You'll notice the valley on the left but continue on over gypsum trail for a little while. Admire the white wall on your left. You'll soon come to a sign left is the Canyon Spur and ahead is the Main Trail. Go right at this sign and continue the upward climb.
In the distance you'll see a flag, a symbol of achievement in some silly game. Keep the upward climb to the top of the hill. Here, if you look behind, you'll see the lodge. To the front is a fence that keeps you off the "green." Here turn to your right. At the fence line you'll see a large evergreen. At its base is what you seek. Under the now familiar gypsum rock you'll find it.
Enjoy the park and be sure and look for the other boxes hidden here.
