This is a series of letterboxes that allows the letterboxer to drive around northern Wayne County and enjoy the scenery. Each of the boxes takes about 15 or so minutes to find and stamp in. The BBBoxers planted these with the assistance of Pastor Alice Pedone on a beautiful, chilly afternoon. These 5 churches are part of a 5-point charge. There is a service every Sunday at the larger Equinunk UMC church. Braman UMC, Lookout UMC, Pine Mill UMC and Union UMC alternate months for their services.

This is a replacement stamp (same image) as the original one floated away in one of the several floods that this town has had to deal with.

Take Route 191 North from Honesdale, PA. Go about 24 miles. You will go down a very steep hill down into the Delaware Valley.

Go right on Lordville Road (at the Equinunk General Store) and pull into the parking lot of the Equinunk UM Church.

After you admire this church drive back out of the driveway and turn left. Get back on route 191 for a very short distance and then take a left up a steep dirt driveway to the Equinunk Cemetery. Go around the circle and park.

Begin at the metal obilisk. Head west to the huge cedar tree at the center of the cemetery - about 18 paces.

Head 30 paces at 210 degrees to visit Loruenser.

With your back to Knight, go 8 paces at 150 degrees to a quadruple trunked tree.

Now head about 5 paces at 70 degrees along the edge of the hill to a not so SPOR.

What you seek is under a flat black rock lying on a flat lichen covered rock.

Please be careful as this is a weak tupper and will be replaced in the near future!!
