I-70 JOYRIDER
A Hitchhiker Hostel
THIS IS LETTERBOX IS RETIRED!!

CLUES
The I-70 Joyrider is located just off I-70, on the east side of Lawrence. It is in an easy drive-by location to facilitate use by letterboxers traveling through Kansas.

A travelin’ man is sure to see a wide variety of personalized license plates while thumbing for rides down the highway. Decode the following "license plates" and you will know where to find the I-70 Joyrider HH Hostel:

The I-70 Joyrider is a Hitchhiker Hostel--the first known hostel in northeastern Kansas. A HH Hostel is guaranteed to always have a hitchhiker within. Joyrider was placed with four hitchhikers from three letterboxers. It you come to stamp the Joyrider, you may take a hitchhiker away only if you leave another in its place. It’s a one-for-one trade. If you don’t have a hitchhiker to trade, that’s okay. The Joyrider HHH has its own journal and stamp, just like a normal letterbox.

Bring your own ink pad and pencil--and a hitchhiker!
