Hueston Woods State Park is 5 miles north of Oxford, Ohio (home of Miami University) off State Route 732.

Turn left into the park off of SR732. When you come to a choice of going right or left, bear right. Follow the road to the Sycamore Grove Picnic Area. Find the Cedar Falls Hiking Trail. The trail can be accessed from the gravel parking area immediately adjacent to the road; this is the wet way. It can also be accessed from the road by the road sign indicating the trail; this is the dry way. Either way you chose, continue on the trail until you find a tree on the right with a red diamond. You will have passed a few interesting looking “thorn” trees before you find the diamond. At the “red diamond” tree, take a reading of 80 degrees and go 7 paces in that direction. Check around the cool hollow tree. Sno resides here under leaves and bark. Please cover well and keep on top of the rock.

Please contact the placer if you find this letterbox.

Enjoy,
