The Little Climber Letterbox
06/30/09 - reprted missing. Do what you'd like with that.
Planted by the Anti – boxer and rtrw on September 14, 2004
Difficulty – Not too hard
Time – 10 minutes
Directions to starting place – Bishop's Beach. If you are local you probably already know and if you are a visitor, check your Milepost. That’s how we found the spot.
Details you don’t need to know – I have never seen anything like the walk way to the box. It’s some kind of interesting plastic flooring or something.
Clues: Park near the beach. Walk down the plastic “superdeck” walkway on the east side of the pavilion. Stop at the first stand of evergreens on the left. With your back to the trees, walk a few steps to the east of the corner of the jutting out part. The box (which has been carried around in my car for almost two years) is under the edge/corner of the jut. Hope your visit to this pretty spot is enjoyable. We were there at sunset and it was beautiful.
