Series pretty well washed up. Someone said they found Isaac today, but I thought they were all gone. Too likely to flood for replanting.

Very easy (we think) and incredibly short. “Serious” hikers may enjoy the scenery, but will soon be irritated by how quickly they need to pull out their log books. This series is good for small children and their overtired parents or the more stamp rabid among us. This one could probably take about half an hour, including stamp in time, so if you don’t enjoy 84 boxes in a half mile, skip this one. We can’t tell you how long it is, but it’s short. Have a great time.

Directions to starting point:

Info you need to know: There is a log book only in the last box, and no stamp pads.

Info that is amusing to us, but could possibly bore you:

The Clues:

Make your way to the pretty little pond by the lower parking lot. Head toward the red covered bridge, but don’t cross it. Keep going straight down the shady path. At the first opportunity, turn right on a trail and walk along the brook. When the trail winds to the left, look for the two fallen soldiers across the brook to your right. Jane is curled up at their feet.
Continue down the path in the same direction. Go past the foot of the fallen giant and look for the obvious letterbox spot on the right. Grace is there, either about to pounce or completely ignore you.
Cross the broken bridge and from the end look toward 10:00. Asher is tucked under some debris in the tree. He always was a shy boy.
Back to the path in search of an even bigger giant’s foot. Don’t leave the path though. Sarah is resting in the medium sized stump to the left of the trail.
When you get back to the main trail, turn right over the bridge. From the far side of the bridge, take 20 steps and turn right. In the background past a low spot is a pretty big tree. I think Isaac might be behind it somewhere.
You can probably figure your way out, but if not, go back to the bridge and go straight. In no time at all you will see the ponds and the parking lot.
