Head to Cos Cob, Connecticut, a small area of Greenwich located between exits 4 and 5 of Interstate 95. On the north side of Route 1 (AKA Putnam Ave & the Post Road), you will find Sinawoy Road next to the Cos Cob Fire Department and across the street from a tidal pond.

Follow Sinawoy Road to a stop sign. You will see Rinaldi's Country Deli on your left. Continue straight onto Orchard St. At 101 Orchard St, you will see the Pomerance Entrance to a small wooded area. You can park on the right shortly after the entrance trail.

Enter the trail and continue past the sign marked "Pomerance-Montgomery Pinetum". You will soon arrive at a little, round, stone hut due east of the trail. Make a right at the stone hut and continue over a stone bridge.

After the stone bridge, take the paved path to the left, following the sign marked "Pinetum". Only a short distance ahead, turn right off the paved path, again following a sign reading "Pinetum".

Follow the path along the labeled property line until you reach a fork. At this fork, the left branch climbs upward, passing a small, stone room while the right fork goes downward. Take the right fork and continue following the path.

You will reach a signpost on your right with a blue arrow leading you down a path on your left that passes under a wooden foot bridge with stone tressles. Follow this blue-blazed trail until you are under the foot bridge.

30 paces after the foot bridge there is a three-way fork in the path. Take the blue-blazed, middle fork.

You will pass the edge of a pond on the trail's left and the trail will bend right. Shortly after this bend, there will be a large boulder 5 feet off the left side of the trail. 15 paces from this boulder and to the left side of the trail, you will see a tree growing on top of a large rock.

In a small cave under the stone below the right edge of this tree, you will find the Sacred Order of the Stonecutters letterbox.

Who keeps this secret off the map? Who keeps this letterbox under wraps? We do.
