MIA as of 12/28/05 - would appreciate any ideas on how to find - this was my niece's first placed box and she is most disappointed!

The idea for this box - hopefully, series of boxes - is thanks to Hikers and Hounds, who started a 'Battle of the Bands' series in Bucks County, PA.

I arrived at Ridley Creek State Park and started on the paved trail. I pulled my jacket closer and put my hands in my pockets as the freezing wind hit my face. I took a 5 mile loop and took the high road past the birdlover's house. I was still on the trail walking up a steep hill, or at least that's how it felt. I looked around and admired the trees. I turned right, and saw a boulder. I walked over and leaned on the bench, taking a break. There was a wooden bridge with leaves covering it. I walked over. After I crossed it, I started hiking up the hill. I tripped over the first of the stair-like tree roots but still went on with my journey. Finally the trail levelled out into a small clearing. I looked around. There was a barn roof visible on the left. There were three trees with yellow blazes in a triangle shape. I went on. It was still mostly level as I walked. I saw a fork in the trail, and got worried and scanned both trails, but turned to the right to stay on the yellow trail. And lucky me, the trail goes UP again. Twigs snapped and the sun kept hiding behind tall trees. I stopped at an intersection. A tree with a double sided arrow directed me left, and I went onto the white trail. Within four paces on the white trail I came to a boulder on the left. I stood at the top of this boulder and enjoyed the view of the treetops and smiled. I went back down to the edge of the boulder and saw another boulder. I took seven paces and found the perfect place to hide my favorite band.
