Mt Warburton Pike, Saturna Island, British Columbia
Take the ferry from Vancouver Island or from Tsawwassen to Saturna Island. After coming off the ferry, make your way to the top of Mt Warburton Pike(approx. 3.9 km up Staples rd). Park and walk to the front of the parking area. Find the Canadian Hydrographic Service marker. Stand on the marker with your back to the tower -- turn 90 degees to the right. Walk 38 paces ahead to a very low but wide diameter stump. Straight ahead you should see a nautural arch made by a fallen tree it is 68 paces along the cliff edge from the low stump. Standing under the arch turn and go to the anchor which you see for the tower. With your back to the tower head down the roadway. 62 paces along the road there is a big dead tree on your left. Continue along the road going downhill another 81 paces. You should see a power pole on your right. Stop even with it. Turn your back to the pole and you should see a pointed stump beside an old twisted fir tree. The pointed stump is 5 paces off the road. There is a loose piece of wood at the base of the stump. What you seek is there.
