Find the park in Illinois that used to be called Railsplitter. Enter this park from Old Route 66. Follow the road for almost a mile and then turn right. Park in the lot on the left. In front of you is the trailhead. Go right over the culvert and continue straight on the path. You will pass a tall tree with four trunks on your right. At the triangle, stay left. Just up ahead on your left, there is a small clearing with a bench buried in the brush. A short way further down the trail, you’ll come to a six-trunk maple on your left. You’ll find The Railsplitter splitting a rail where the trunks meet.
Have fun!
