Terrain: flat, field-mowed grass
Distance of walk: little over 800ft round trip
Wheel chair friendly: probably not, there’s no path
This box is placed in a small park between Orchards and Brush Prairie. Fred and Ethel donated the land to the county for a park. She spoke lovingly of her favorite trees having planted each one by hand.
From I-205 take Padden exit east, 117th Ave north, 99th Street east, 124th Ave north. The park is about 2/10th of a mile on the left. The parking spot (there’s only room for one car, two if they’re small) is on the NE corner of the park. From the sign head out at boiling point. Keep walking until you find the tree that is heptamerous in nature. The box is in a hole on the north side.
